Rebalance.Connect. Transform.

Aloha,

I am a Hawaiian Energetic Massage Therapist, Energy Healer and Cacao and Women's Circle facilitator.

My story has been an intuitive dance. I’ve learned to listen to my deepest calling: to serve others through sharing my medicines of healing and light and to unlock the power within others to heal themselves.

Helping is when we assist and support others. When we help without ego we give from a place of unconditional love and there is unlimited potential for healing.

I studied Law and International Studies at university with the aim of going into humanitarian or environmental law. However, the land of academics, deadlines and severe structure felt like a cage around my freedom. After a few years of study I felt so disconnected, lost and anxious.

It wasn’t until I left university and went travelling that the heaviness began to shift. I learnt Reiki and started to do self-healing sessions. As I grew more confident I offered Reiki to my fellow travellers. I began to trust my wandering feet and I felt myself being guided from person to person, helping with kind words, a hug, a smile, a connection. They were in turn also healing me, reconnecting me to my true path and calling.

My heart healed while I travelled that year. I felt inspired and joyful. A new dream of helping others by energy healing emerged. I also heard of Hawaiian Massage while on the road and it sang to my soul, even before I knew exactly what it was.

I first studied Ka Huna Massage at Mette’s Institute, Queensland in 2015 and everything made sense. It was the perfect combination of wisdom, intuition, flow and the healing art of massage. I also studied Massage Therapy at NSW School of Massage, Sydney. The science of the body deepened my knowledge and grounded me. I witnessed with clients how our bodies hold memories and how letting go of these memories can trigger a physical/emotional release which leads to wholeness and deep healing.

When I travelled to Maui in 2017, I felt my heart come back home. I learned Traditional Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage in a month-long mastership program with Jeana Naluai, a native Hawaiian teacher (Kumu). The wisdom, stories and chants she shared enriched my practice and connected me to an ancient lineage of healing- the techniques of Lomi Lomi were effective and strong. My knowledge grew and I could feel the call to share, heal and inspire. Working at Sydney Ka Huna Centre on my return to Australia gave me wings in the city. With every client there was a dance, a connection, transformation and healing.

The massage table is an altar where we bring our troubles, worries, fears, aches and pains. We ask the body what it is saying. We clear blockages. With aloha and care you are guided back home to your true nature.

In this sacred space I honour your journey, your stories, and your connection to your Ancestors and the earth, the forests, the sea and stars.

I dance to live in the light and serve you so you can live in yours.

Honu hoi

With love and light,

Sigrid
